## What Nexma is

Nexma is a horizontal spatial AI platform: one operating system, many domains. Domain-specific functionality (FTTH, water, electric, defense, etc.) is delivered through skill-driven plugins on top of a single governed graph. The platform is built around two primitives:

- **AgentSkill** — a typed schema that defines a domain (entity types, relationships, constraints, layer/view/toolbar configs, constants). Load a different schema → get a completely different application → zero code changes.
- **GeoCodebase** — an in-memory virtual file system that is the live schema + spatial data. The single source of truth that map, schema designer, tabs, and the AI agent all read from and write to.

## Jax — the AI agent

Jax is Nexma's spatial general intelligence agent, powered by Jax Apex 1.0. It autonomously engineers infrastructure, analyzes spatial data, and orchestrates field operations. Jax interacts with the GeoCodebase through generic file primitives (codex_read, codex_write, codex_ls, codex_search) — never through domain-specific tools — which is what lets it generalize across verticals.
